What areas do you service?

We currently service Port Stephens, Newcastle, Central Coast, Cessnock, Maitland and Sydney areas.

Are your cleaners insured and background checked?

Yes! All cleaners are insured, police-checked, and professionally trained. If you need proof of insurance simply email us at [email protected] and we will gladly forward you all relevant documentation.

Do you bring your own cleaning equipment?

Yes, we use commercial-grade cleaning equipment because it ensures a superior, efficient, and professional clean every time. Our tools are more powerful than household alternatives, allowing us to remove dirt, grime, and build-up more effectively — especially in high-use or hard-to-reach areas.

Are you cleaning teams pet-friendly and do you use non-toxic cleaning products?

Definitely! Our cleaning teams are trained to work around dogs, cats, and other pets — we're proud to be a pet-friendly cleaning service.

To ensure we bring the most suitable cleaning products and equipment for your home, please let us know what pets you have in the notes section when booking.

How do I book my cleaning service?

Am I required to enter my payment information?

Yes, we require payment details at the time of booking to secure your appointment. However, your card will not be charged right away. A pre-authorisation hold will be placed 2 days before your service, and you'll only be charged after the service is completed.

This helps us confirm your booking and ensures a smooth experience on the day of your clean. Your information is securely processed using industry-standard encryption and trusted payment gateways.

What services don't you offer?

While we cover a wide range of cleaning services, there are a few tasks we don't offer, including:

Can I hire my cleaner directly outside of RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance?

We understand that clients may really enjoy working with a particular cleaner — and we're proud of that! However, our service agreement includes a non-solicitation policy to protect the time and effort we invest in recruiting, vetting, and training our cleaning professionals.

Hiring any current or former RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance cleaner independently—outside of our platform—requires payment of a $10,000 referral fee, due immediately upon personal employment of that cleaner. This applies whether the work is ongoing or a one-time service.

We truly value your understanding and support in maintaining fair and respectful practices for both our team and our business.

Do I have to be present for my home cleaning?

Not at all — it's completely up to you! Many of our clients choose to go about their day while we take care of the cleaning.

As long as we have secure access to your home (such as a key, lockbox code, or someone to let us in), you don't need to be there during the service. Just leave us a note with any special instructions, and we'll handle the rest with care and professionalism.

How long will it take to clean my house?

It depends on the size and condition of your home. As a general guide for regular maintenance cleaning, take the number of bedrooms in your home and convert that into hours with one cleaner.

For example:

🏡 3 bedrooms = approx. 3 hours with one cleaner

🧹 With a team of two = approx. 1.5 hours

Please note: if your home hasn't been professionally cleaned recently, or if it requires extra attention, the job may take longer. Let us know your priorities so we can give a more accurate estimate.

How many people will come to clean my house?

In most cases, we'll send one professional cleaner to your home to ensure consistency and attention to detail.

For larger homes or more intensive cleans (like deep cleans or end-of-lease services), we may assign a team of two or more cleaners to complete the job more efficiently.

If you have a preference or special request, feel free to let us know when booking — we're happy to accommodate where possible!

What are your late cancellation fees?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your service. This helps us manage schedules and ensure our cleaning teams don't lose valuable work.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a late cancellation fee.

Cancellations at the door or with no prior notice will be charged the full price of the booking.

What is your policy on damages?

At RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance, we take great care in every clean. However, in the rare event that accidental damage occurs, rest assured — we are fully insured, and so are our professional cleaners.

If something is damaged during your service, our damage claim process will ensure that your item is either repaired or reimbursed as quickly as possible.

Your peace of mind is important to us, and we'll always do our best to make things right.

What is your damage claim process?

If accidental damage occurs, our cleaners are trained to report it to our head office immediately. We'll then contact you and handle the necessary paperwork to begin the claims process as quickly as possible.

Please note:

We offer a 2-day grace period to report any damage. Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of your service so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

Unfortunately, claims submitted after this period cannot be accepted.

We appreciate your understanding and aim to resolve all matters with care and urgency.

Do you move furniture to clean?

Generally, yes — we’re happy to move light furniture (under 10 kg) to clean underneath or behind it.

However, for safety and insurance reasons, our cleaners do not move heavy or bulky items such as:

Large lounges or armchairs

Beds

Fridges, washing machines, dryers, or other major appliances

We recommend moving any heavy furniture ahead of time if you’d like us to clean those areas. Thank you for understanding!

Do you provide end of lease cleaning services?

Yes, we do! At RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance, we specialise in end of lease cleaning and move-out cleans — designed to meet real estate and property manager standards.

I only need a partial end of lease clean — can you help?

Unfortunately, we don't offer partial end of lease cleans.

This is because real estate agents and property managers conduct detailed inspections, and a fully completed clean is typically required for a bond refund. A partially cleaned property may not meet their standards, which could risk your bond not being returned.

To protect your interests and ensure the job is done right, we only offer comprehensive, full end of lease cleaning services — backed by our 100% Bond Back Guarantee.

I don't have parking — is that okay?

We kindly ask that parking is arranged or made available for our cleaning teams on the day of your service.

In areas like Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Surry Hills, Ultimo, Glebe, Kings Cross, and Redfern, parking can be very limited. Our cleaners arrive fully equipped with cleaning caddies, chemicals, and equipment, so walking long distances isn't always practical or safe.

If paid parking is the only option, the cost will be added to your booking — and we'll always confirm this with you in advance.

We really appreciate your help in making access as smooth as possible for your cleaning team!

Will my cleaner start the service at the exact time of my booking?

We aim to arrive as close to your selected time as possible, but please note that all bookings are scheduled with a 1-hour arrival window.

For example, if you book a 10:00 AM slot, your cleaner may arrive anytime between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. This window allows for travel time, traffic, parking, or delays from earlier jobs.

If you require an exact start time, please contact us before your booking — we'll do our best to accommodate your needs!

What's your policy on cleaner vaccination?

At RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance, the health and safety of our clients and cleaners is a top priority.

We encourage all of our cleaning professionals to stay up to date with vaccinations in line with public health guidelines. While vaccination is not currently a mandatory requirement, we are happy to accommodate your preferences whenever possible.

If you'd like to request a vaccinated cleaner, please let us know at the time of booking, and we'll do our best to match your request. Your comfort and peace of mind matter to us.

Why is there limited availability at present?

Our availability may be limited due to high demand, especially during busy seasons, weekends, or public holidays. We always aim to match you with the most suitable and trusted cleaner for your location and service needs — and that can occasionally take a little extra time.

I only want my carpets and upholstery cleaned — is that possible?

Yes, absolutely! At RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance, we offer carpet and upholstery cleaning as standalone services, so you don't need to book a full house clean to get them done.

Whether it's a one-off carpet refresh, spot treatment, or deep clean for your sofas, mattresses, or chairs — we're happy to help.

Just let us know the items, fabric types, and number of rooms or pieces you'd like cleaned when booking, and we'll tailor the service to suit your needs.

I only require a partial clean — can I book a smaller home size than mine?

Unfortunately, no. We carefully brief our cleaning teams based on the actual size of your home, as this directly impacts the time, effort, and resources required.

If you're looking for a partial clean (e.g. only certain rooms in a larger home), we highly recommend booking our hourly service, which allows us to focus on your priority areas within your chosen timeframe.

Booking a smaller package (e.g. selecting a 2-bedroom clean for a 4-bedroom home) isn't possible, as larger homes typically include more bathrooms, bigger kitchens, additional living areas, and overall surface area — not just more bedrooms.

If the hourly option doesn't suit your needs, please feel free to contact us — we're happy to explore alternative solutions or provide a customised quote.

What are you doing to minimise risk during COVID-19?

The safety of our clients and cleaning teams is always our top priority. To minimise risk and provide a safe environment, we continue to take the following precautions:

✓ Masks and gloves worn by all cleaners

✓ Contactless service options encouraged for both clients and cleaners

✓ Vaccination strongly encouraged for all cleaning and admin staff

We are also happy to accommodate requests for fully vaccinated cleaners, where available — just let us know when booking.

Our team is actively monitoring public health advice and will continue adjusting our safety practices as needed to keep everyone safe.

My property has a lot of mould growth — can you help?

We can assist with light surface mould removal, but please note that we are not mould remediation specialists.

Extensive mould treatment is not included in our standard cleaning services unless specifically requested in advance. In many cases, cleaning alone may remove visible mould spores, but without proper remediation, the mould is likely to return — especially in damp or poorly ventilated areas.

If your property has significant mould growth, we recommend consulting a professional mould remediation service for long-term treatment. We're happy to complement that service with a general or deep clean where needed.
