Do you offer a bond back guarantee?

Yes, we do! All of our end-of-lease cleans come with a Bond Back Guarantee.

If your property manager identifies any areas within our agreed scope of work that were missed, we'll happily return and re-clean those areas free of charge — provided we're notified within 72 hours of the service.

🕒 We allow up to 7 business days after your clean for re-clean requests. Unfortunately, we're unable to accommodate any claims made beyond this time frame.

Please note: our guarantee includes a free re-clean, but refunds are not offered in place of this service.

How much do you charge for end-of-lease cleaning?

The cost of your end-of-lease clean generally depends on the size and condition of your property.

We charge based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, with pricing starting at $390 for a studio or one-bedroom apartment, and increasing incrementally for larger homes.

All prices include GST and are backed by our Bond Back Guarantee.

Additional charges may apply for extras not included in the standard bond clean, such as:

✔ Full wall washing

✔ Exterior window cleaning

✔ Balcony cleaning

✔ Blind cleaning

If the property requires extra attention due to its condition, we may need to adjust the pricing — but don't worry, this will always be clearly communicated before we begin.

Is your quote final?

Yes — in most cases, the price we quote is the final price.

With experience cleaning over 15,000 Aussie homes each year, you could say we're experts at accurate quoting. The only exception is if the property is excessively soiled or has unexpected conditions that fall outside the standard scope of an end-of-lease clean. If that's the case, we'll always discuss any price changes with you before starting.

I live in a suburb with limited parking — do I need to assist with parking?

Yes, we kindly ask that parking is made accessible for our cleaning team, especially in areas where parking is limited.

In high-density suburbs like Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Surry Hills, Chippendale, Ultimo, Glebe, Kings Cross, and Redfern, parking can be extremely difficult to find. Since our cleaners carry all necessary equipment, it's not practical for them to walk long distances from their vehicle.

If parking is not available on-site and a paid parking option is required, we'll simply add the parking cost to your booking — and this will always be confirmed with you in advance.

We appreciate your help in ensuring a smooth and timely service!

Am I required to be home during the service?

No, not at all! You're not required to be home during the clean.

All we need is a secure way to access the property — whether that's a key left in a safe place, access via a building manager, or key pick-up from a nearby real estate agent.

If your agent is close by, our team is happy to collect the key, carry out the service, and return it as arranged. Just let us know your preferred method when booking!

What's not included in your cleaning services?

Yes, generally we don't provide the following services:

✔ Gardening.

✔ Extensive mould removal.

✔ Patching or fixing of damaged walls.

✔ Thorough ceiling cleaning.

✔ Fixing and cleaning inside of light fittings

✔ Cleaning of chandeliers or other easy to damage fixtures

✔ Changing of light bulbs.

✔ Damaged carpet restoration.

✔ Repairing damaged grout or turning excessively dark grout white.

✔ Repairing damaged stone countertops or removing blemishes from improper use of chemicals on countertops.

✔ Commercial cleaning of heavily soiled kitchen appliances like stoves, large range hoods and ventilation systems.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are fully insured.

Are your cleaning teams professional?

At RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance, we only work with highly experienced, background-checked, and fully insured professionals who take pride in their work. Each cleaner is carefully vetted and receives ongoing support and training to uphold our gold standard of service.

Are there any additional cleaning services that need to be purchased as extras?

Generally, our end-of-lease cleaning checklist is more than sufficient to meet real estate agent expectations — we've successfully completed thousands of bond cleans.

However, depending on your agent's specific requirements, you may need to purchase additional services such as:

✔ Carpet steam cleaning

✔ Exterior window cleaning

✔ Full wall washing

✔ Balcony or pressure washing

✔ Fly screen and ceiling-to-floor window cleaning

✔ Mattress or upholstery cleaning

These services are not included in a standard move-out clean and must be added separately at an additional cost.

If the property has excessive staining or wear, for example, on the walls, spot cleaning may not be enough — in this case, we recommend adding full wall washing.

Please note: we're unable to add extra services to your booking free of charge, so it's important to include all relevant add-ons during your booking to ensure we can deliver the highest standard of service and help protect your rental bond.

My house still has furniture — is that okay?

At RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance, we aim to deliver the highest quality end-of-lease clean possible. For our team to work effectively, we require the property to be completely empty of furniture and personal belongings.

Furniture and other fixtures can limit access to walls, floors, and corners, making it difficult to achieve the level of detail required for a successful bond return.

We also require that the property has power and running water to complete the clean thoroughly.

If your home cannot be completely cleared, please contact us in advance (via phone or email), and we'll do our best to make alternative arrangements or adjust the service accordingly.

My agent has a specific checklist — can you follow it?

Absolutely! We're more than happy to work with your agent's specific end-of-lease cleaning checklist to help ensure your bond is returned without issues.

If the checklist includes tasks outside our standard scope, we can tailor the service accordingly. In cases where additional work is required, extra charges may apply — but we'll always discuss this with you upfront before proceeding.

Just send us the checklist in advance, and we'll take care of the rest.

I only need a partial end of lease clean — can you help?

Unfortunately, we do not offer partial end of lease cleans.

This is because real estate agents and property managers typically conduct comprehensive inspections, and a partially completed clean may result in your bond not being returned.

To give you the best chance of a successful bond refund, we only offer full end-of-lease cleaning services that meet the expected standards — backed by our Bond Back Guarantee.

How much notice do you need?

We recommend providing at least 24 to 48 hours' notice when booking a cleaning service to help us schedule the perfect cleaner for your needs.

For end-of-lease, deep cleaning, or specialty services, a bit more notice is appreciated — especially during peak times or weekends.

Need something last minute? We'll do our best to accommodate same-day or next-day requests, subject to availability. Just give us a call or book online — and we'll let you know our earliest opening!

Can I get a receipt to show my landlord?

Absolutely! Once your service is booked, we'll place a hold on your card prior to the appointment. After the service is completed and you're happy, we'll finalise the payment and send you an instant receipt.

Need it for your landlord or property manager? No problem — just send us an email, and we'll happily forward a copy on your behalf.

Is there anything you need from me before my end-of-lease clean?

Yes — end-of-lease cleaning is one of the most detailed and demanding services we offer, and your support helps us deliver the best possible results.

With over 10,000 successful bond cleans completed, we’ve perfected our process — but there are a few things we’ll need from you to ensure everything goes smoothly:

Access to the Property

You don't need to be there during the clean, but we do need clear instructions on how to access the property.

You can:

✔ Leave the key in a safe place

✔ Arrange a key pick-up nearby

✔ Have a friend, family member, or agent let us in

Let us know your access plan when booking.

Parking

If you're located in high-traffic or limited-parking areas (like Sydney CBD, North Sydney, Bondi, or Parramatta CBD), please assist with parking.

If paid parking is required, we'll inform you and add it to your booking as needed.

The Property Must Be Empty

For best results, the property should be completely vacated — no furniture or personal items remaining.

If you need a furnished end-of-lease clean, please call or email us before booking to discuss options.

Running Water & Electricity

We require both power and water to complete the job properly:

✔ Hot water helps us deep clean surfaces and floors

✔ Electricity is needed to operate vacuums and equipment

If either is unavailable, we may need to reschedule the job, and a fee may apply.

No Tradespeople Onsite

We can't complete the clean if painters, plumbers, or other tradespeople are working in the property at the same time.

Please schedule your clean before or after any other work is done.

Does your spot wall cleaning include all dirty spots?

Not quite. Our spot wall cleaning is designed for a standard touch-up — it includes some high-touch areas, such as:

✔ Around light switches

✔ Power points

✔ Small visible marks in common areas

It's not suitable for properties with extensive scuff marks, stains, or dirt throughout the walls. If your walls have widespread marks or if you're preparing for an end-of-lease inspection, we recommend booking a full wall washing service instead.

Real estate agents often expect all visible marks to be removed for bond return, so upgrading to full wall washing is the best way to ensure your walls meet inspection standards.

My house has just been renovated — can I book your end-of-lease clean?

Unfortunately, no. There is a significant difference between an end-of-lease clean and a post-renovation clean.

If your property has recently undergone renovations or there is noticeable builder's dust, debris, or residue, you will need to book our Post-Construction Cleaning Service instead. This specialised service is designed to tackle the fine dust and detailed work typically left behind after construction.

If our team arrives and finds that the booked service is not suitable for the property's condition, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the booking, and additional charges may apply.

My hardwood floors have lots of scratches — are you able to fix them?

Our cleaning service includes sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of hardwood floors, but we do not provide floor resurfacing, polishing, or scratch removal.

If your hardwood floors have visible scratches or surface damage, we recommend contacting a flooring specialist who offers sanding, sealing, or refinishing services.

That said, a professional clean can help brighten the floors and remove surface dirt, giving them a much fresher appearance — even if deeper restoration work is needed separately.

Are tenants responsible for end of tenancy cleaning?

Yes — in most cases, tenants are responsible for ensuring the property is returned in a clean and well-maintained condition at the end of the lease.

This typically includes a comprehensive clean of all rooms, appliances, fixtures, and fittings to meet the standards set by your landlord or property manager. Failing to do so may result in deductions from your rental bond.

How long does the end-of-lease cleaning process usually take?

The duration of an end-of-lease clean depends on the size and condition of your property.

As a general guide:

✔ A standard 1-bedroom property typically takes 5–6 labour hours

✔ Add approximately 1–2 hours per additional room

✔ For larger homes (4+ bedrooms), we may allocate 12+ hours, usually with a team of two cleaners

Heavily soiled or furnished properties may require more time. We'll always assess the details at booking and provide a time estimate to ensure the job is completed thoroughly.

Should I book flat rate or hourly service for an end-of-lease clean — and how many hours should I book?

We strongly recommend booking our Flat Rate End-of-Lease Cleaning Service if you need a full bond return clean.

This service is designed to:

✔ Cover everything listed in our end-of-lease cleaning checklist

✔ Allocate the right amount of time based on your property size

✔ Include our Bond Back Guarantee for peace of mind

When to Consider Hourly Cleaning?

Our Hourly Rate Service is best for:

✔ Partial or light touch-up cleans

✔ Homes that have already been professionally cleaned

✔ Clients with a set budget who want us to work from a priority list

Note: Hourly bookings do not include our Bond Back Guarantee, and cleaning is limited to the time you book.

How many hours should I book (if hourly)?

As a guide, allow for:

1 bedroom: 5–6 hours

Add 1–2 hours for each extra room

Do you provide cleaning services on weekends or holidays for end-of-lease cleaning?

Yes, we do!

At RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance, we understand that moving doesn't always happen Monday to Friday — so we offer end-of-lease cleaning services on weekends and public holidays, subject to availability.

To ensure we can secure a time that works for you, we recommend booking in advance, especially during busy periods like the end of the month or holiday seasons.

Please note: A small surcharge may apply for bookings on Sunday and public holidays.

Can you accommodate specific timing requests for the end-of-lease cleaning appointment?

Yes — we do our best to accommodate specific timing requests, especially for end-of-lease cleans where key handovers, inspections, or removals are time-sensitive.

While we operate within arrival windows (e.g. between 8–9 AM), you're welcome to request a preferred start time when booking. We'll confirm availability and do our best to match it.

If you have a tight schedule, such as same-day move-out or agent inspection, please let us know in advance — we'll prioritise accordingly and communicate clearly with you every step of the way.

What measures do you take to ensure the property meets the cleanliness standards set by landlords or property managers?

At RoseGold Cleaning & Maintenance, we follow a proprietary, agent-approved End of Lease Cleaning Checklist specifically designed to meet the strict standards of landlords and property managers.

Our experienced cleaning teams are trained to pay attention to the details that real estate agents look for — helping ensure your property passes inspection and your rental bond is returned without hassle.

What happens if the property requires additional cleaning after the initial end-of-lease service?

If your property manager or landlord identifies areas that need attention after our initial end-of-lease clean, we'll return and re-clean any missed areas within 7 days at no extra cost, as long as they fall within the scope of our standard checklist.

To ensure a smooth process:

Please notify us within 72 hours of the clean (48 hours for office cleans)

Provide feedback or a copy of the agent's inspection report

We'll promptly arrange a free re-clean of the specified areas

Note: If the additional work requested is outside the original scope (e.g. excessive damage, post-renovation mess, or added requests not included in your booking), additional charges may apply — but we'll always confirm that with you first.

Do you clean windows as part of the end-of-lease service, and is it an additional cost?

Yes — interior window cleaning is included in our standard end-of-lease cleaning service. This covers all standard-sized interior windows throughout the property.

However, the following are considered add-ons and will incur an additional cost:

✓ Ceiling-to-floor windows

Fly screens (removal, cleaning, and reinstallation)

Exterior windows

These options can be easily selected during the online booking process. If your property includes any of these, simply add them as extras when booking — this helps us prepare accordingly and ensures everything is covered to meet your agent's inspection standards.

What is your policy on rescheduling or canceling end-of-lease cleaning appointments?

We understand that plans can change, and we're happy to accommodate with as much flexibility as possible.

You can reschedule or cancel for free up to 24 hours before your appointment.

Changes made within 24 hours of your scheduled service will incur a $50 late cancellation/rescheduling fee.

Cancellations at the door (i.e. upon arrival or without prior notice) will incur the full cost of the service.

To reschedule or cancel, simply contact our support team via phone or email as soon as possible — we're here to help!

Can you accommodate urgent or last-minute requests for end-of-lease cleaning services?

Yes — we can often accommodate same-day or next-day bookings for end-of-lease cleans, especially for services scheduled Monday to Friday.

Weekday requests: We'll do our best to fit you in, depending on availability — early contact is recommended.

Weekend requests: We'll try to assist where possible, but last-minute weekend bookings are harder to guarantee, so advanced notice is preferred.
